  1. Remember to read the introduction to each venue. Please check it periodically before going out because it may have new information.

-Dress warmly and have layers with you at all venues. It can get COLD in the shade and wind.

-Be courteous to ALL people that you come in contact with while petitioning. You are representing LabelGMOs and we do not want anyone to have a negative impression of us. If they don't have time today, they may tomorrow. But if you offend them, that might blow the deal.

    - Do not petition INSIDE any of the stores that we are petitioning . Please stay where we have permission to petition and do not venture in front of the entrances/ exits unless you were given explicit permission to do so. Let's keep what we have going for us!

-Keep your views of politics and Monsanto, and other FDA/USDA crimes out of the picture and try to keep ANY discussion to a minimum. Let's keep the focus to labeling and our right to know!

    Thank you!

  2. PROFESSIONAL SIGNATURE GATHERERS AT DEL MONTE CENTER, FARMER'S MARKETS, AND ANYWHERE THAT WE HAVE RECEIVED PERMISSION TO PETITION:
We can and should tell them to leave. Whole Foods has given permission only to labelgmo volunteers at the designated times. If they want to try times excluding Mon & Wed 3-6 and Sat 2-5, that is their choice, but we don't want them messing up what we have worked for. This goes for MPC, Pacific Grove, Marina, and Seaside Markets. Selected dates at Savemart and Nob Hill too (sign up coming soon).

Otherwise, try to stay put...just go to the other side of where they are. They can't get the amount of signers that we can because they are trying to get people to sign, say...7 different petitions. And you know why Burger King builds next to McDonalds? To catch the overflow (I know, its' crap food - I'm makin a point!)

But if you don't want to stay, try going to The Aquarium and stand around where the paper stands are. They are cool with that. Also, around the stairs to the Sardine Factory and also the Starbucks corner. Great weekend spots. Not so good on the weekdays.
